-2nd Place in MTC Tournament
-1996 was the first year that quiz bowl or “scholar bowl” was recognized as an official MSHSSA regulated event. Before this time, the Missouri Academic Association ran a state championship from 1992-1995.
-In the caption for the academic team in the 1996 Chadwick yearbook, Brian’s name was inadvertently listed as “Brain Moesner.”

-The 2006 team lost the championship by a single point to Hurley. In previous years, New Covenant Academy had always taken first place. This led to the team mantra of “Beat New Covenant.” Ironically, they accomplished that goal, but still did not take first place.-After being beaten by both Chadwick and Hurley, New Covenant stopped participating in future conference tournaments.

-Sophomores Evan Davis and Tyler Gardner led the Cardinals in scoring during the MTC Tournament, racking up 180 and 140 points respectively.
-The team was unable to compete in district competition due to a missed paperwork deadline.
-Destiny was best known for answering a question about Kim Kardashian during tournament-play.

-The team defeated New Covenent Academy in overtime to place 2nd overall in the MTC Quiz Bowl Tournament.
-They placed fourth in the 2nd annual Southern Missouri Battle of the Brains hosted at Chadwick. They tied records with Bunker, but Bunker had more total points, so they placed third. Evan Davis was earned a Golden Thumb award for being among the tournament’s top five scorers. He averaged 103 points per game.
-For the first time, the team traveled to SBU for their annual history bowl.

-The team competed against seventeen other teams in the Sparta Fall Tournament on October 27, 2018. There record was 3-5 for the day. Sophomore Kayla Purdome led the team in individual scoring for the tournament, scoring 120 points. Junior Courtney Hill was close behind with 110 points.
-On November 8, 2018, the team competed in the annual Mark Twain Conference Quiz Bowl Tournament. The tournament host, New Covenant Academy, went 5-0 to sweep the tournament and take first place. Chadwick placed third overall with senior Mari Rampin leading the team with 60 points from tossups. Tournament highlights included a first-time-ever victory over School of the Ozarks.
-For the first time the quiz bowl team scheduled non-tournament match ups with neighboring schools. They hosted Bradleyville and Sparta on two separate evenings for a varsity and JV match. The varsity lost both matches; the junior varsity won both matches.
-They placed third in the 3rd annual Southern Missouri Battle of the Brains hosted at Chadwick behind first place finisher Spokane and second place Weaubleau. Chadwick’s lone senior Mariasole Rampin was the tournament’s fifth overall score with 130 points, earning her a Golden Thumb Award.
-The team placed fourth in a field of 13 in the “small schools” division of the SBU History Bowl behind only two home school teams from Bolivar, which took first and second, and Diamond.

-The team placed fifth overall in the 4th Annual Southern Missouri Battle of the Brains.
-The team placed fourth overall in the MTC Tournament. Perennial victor NCA took first place, and Chadwick lost by only a single question to second place finisher School of the Ozarks and three questions to third place finisher Bradleyville.
-The varsity team placed 18th overall out of 24 teams in the small school division of SBU History Bowl. A second team composed of only sophomores finished 23rd overall.
